Accounting and Finance retain triple accreditation! January 2023
I am delighted to announce to both existing and future students that the BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance course has retained its professional body triple accreditation status. When students graduate and have passed all modules contained within this course, the time to achieve a professional qualification is most definitely shortened!
There are several paths of study post degree that a budding accountant can take, but the specific University of Wolverhampton accreditations that can help with this are as follows:
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – our graduates can claim exemptions from the first nine ACCA examinations, leaving only the four final strategic papers to do.
- Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – our graduates can claim exemptions from the first eight CIMA examinations, leaving only four to do.
- Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) – our graduates can claim up to five exemptions if they achieve an Upper Second- or First-Degree award classification leaving ten further examinations to do.
Special thanks to the accounting and finance team that have worked so hard to regain these accreditations.
We are proud to help our students achieve their potential against the backdrop of standards provided by the professional bodies. Their future is bright!
