Dr Peter Samuels to Deliver Research Methods and Academic Writing Training in Rwanda

Dr Peter Samuels was recently appointed as a Reader in Research Methods in the Business School. He will be travelling to Kigali, Rwanda from 2nd to 8th February to provide some voluntary training in research methods and academic writing to both staff and students.
From 3rd to 5th February he will be working with the Africa Quantitative Sciences a recently established company dedicated to using innovative, data-driven solutions to make a positive impact on society. Their goal is to improve how vaccines and diseases are monitored, leading to better public health outcomes and stronger global health security. This is a new partnership for Peter. He will be training their staff in academic writing and grant application writing and teaching the second cohort of their NextGen Research Fellows some introductory research subjects.
From 6th to 8th February Peter will be working with the Africa Centre of Excellence in Innovative Mathematics and Science Teaching and Learning based at the University of Rwanda. He was worked with them on several occasions in the past. He will be training their recently enrolled doctoral students in proposal writing based on his book on the subject.
