University of Wolverhampton represented at Flagship ENGAGE Europe Conference July 2022
Last month the The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (the Association), representing AICPA & CIMA, hosted the second European edition of its flagship ENGAGE Europe conference at the Vox in Birmingham.
The two-day hybrid conference featured highly practical sessions on technical, business, leadership, people, and digital skills, to help accounting and finance professionals across Europe keep up to date with the profession’s latest developments and develop practical skills to thrive in the modern business world.
Paul Turner, Regional Vice President – UK and Ireland at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, representing AICPA & CIMA, said:

We were able to play our part as Sibel Yamak, Professor of Management from the University of Wolverhampton was invited to take part in a panel discussion on: Why Should ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Matter to Business? Professor Yamak was in good company with AICPA CEO Barry Melancon, Professor Lisa Short, John Young (former BBC News Presenter and reporter) and Dave Gandee of PwC.
