Here for You: Wellbeing, Safety and Support at University

Starting university and a new semester is an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming. Whether you're settling into a new environment, adjusting to new ways of learning, or simply finding your feet, it's completely normal to feel a mix of emotions. We also recognise that events happening around the world, whether reported in the news or experienced closer to home, can be unsettling and may affect members of our university community in different ways. Some of you may be directly impacted or be concerned for loved ones.
At times like these, it's important to know that you're not alone. The University offers a wide range of services and support networks to help you feel safe, supported, and connected throughout your student journey.
If you need help or have concerns, you can talk to your Student Success Coach, personal tutor, or any member of staff. We're all here to help.
Below is a reminder of some of the services and teams across the University who are dedicated to supporting you throughout your student journey, with your pastoral, wellbeing, and safety needs.
