Financial support for international and European Union students
European Union students
EU citizens who start a course after 1st August 2021 will be classed as 'international' students for fees and will no longer be eligible for support from the UK Government. EU students who have settled or pre-settled status through the EU Settlement Scheme prior to the start of the course can still apply for 'home' fees and for loans from Student Finance England. More information and full eligibility criteria can be found at www.gov.uk/guidance/studying-in-the-uk-guidance-for-eu-students and www.gov.uk/student-finance/eu-students.
