Glenn Rossington

School of Creative Industries / Creative Futures / Student Case Studies

I mainly photograph bands and artists across the UK in venues of all sizes. From the unknown to major acts in pubs and arenas to both small and major festivals. I have worked alongside clients such as: This Is Soundcheck, NME, SJM Concerts, Material PR, Chuff Media and Coventry Evening Telegraph to name a few. I am also putting the finishing touches to a new podcast discussing photography with artists, covering a wide variety of genres.

The best parts of the course are split into two main aspects for me. The first was having the access to facilities and resources that I would not have otherwise had; the studios, the darkrooms and editing suites as well as the multitude of studio equipment and lenses. The other was the opportunities that became available. I managed to work as an official photographer for the school where my photography ended up in the 2012/13 prospectus. I also got to spend 3 months as a photographer on a working trip to Holland as part of the Da Vinci Program.
