23 February 2022 15:00-17:00hrs

To assess your readiness, plan steps, and take action that will move you forward to become research independent.

This course is designed to help you to develop your profile and present your research (think ‘brand’); to be proactive about situating yourself in your area, develop a vision and strategy, explore ideas, and build networks.

This session is available to book through Agresso.

15th March 2022, 10:00-12:00hrs.

NOTE: This session is ONLY available for Lord Paul Fellows / ERAS Fellows.

For more information about the session, please contact Amy Tan at A.Tan2@wlv.ac.uk

16 March 2022 13:00-15:00hrs

Do you have a great idea? Possibly many. How do you make the most of the ideas worthy of the time and effort required to develop and conduct a research project. This course will enable you to assess objectively your true interest in the topic;  whether there is need for new data; the feasibility and logistics of actually conducting the study; and of resources available to do the research.

This session is available to book through Agresso.

13 April 2022 15:00-17:00hrs

It is important for any grant application to have a good narrative. Suppose you’ve mapped out your story. How do you fit this within the structure of an application form? This course will guide you how to use the structure to your advantage.

This session is available to book through Agresso.

4 May 2022 14:00-16:00hrs

If you really want to know the impact your research can make and potentially achieve, you will want to know: who can or has benefitted, in what way, and to what extent? This course will show you what you should build into your research design to find out.

This session is available to book through Agresso.
