It’s fast approaching Degree Show time again and hard to believe it’s been over a year since we opened the new Wolverhampton Screen School and packed up British Art Show 9 and sent it on to Manchester. 2023 has also been an exciting year for the School of Art as we mark 170 years of Art & Design education in the city and welcomed back members of the Black Art Group to join current students in celebrating 40 years since they organised first Blk Art Convention in the School.
The Wolverhampton School of Art Degree Show 2023 opens on Friday 9th June 5.30 -8.30 and as we speak, our graduating students are working hard to transform our studios into galleries and complete their final projects and portfolios for you to come and see.
We look forward to welcoming all our students, colleagues, families and friends for an evening of celebration and a chance to see the work of our talented graduates in Animation, Computer Games Design, Fashion, Film and Television Production, Fine Art , Glass and Ceramics, Graphics, Illustration, Interior and Product Design, Journalism, Photography and Textiles.
All welcome – no need to book
The Shows will be open for 2 weeks (Mon – Sat 10-4). You are welcome to visit at this time and please contact us if you would like to bring a group for a tour of the exhibitions and our new screen school facilities.
