We offer the opportunity for your students to visit the University of Wolverhampton and get a feel for life in higher education. Your students will have the chance to talk to our student ambassadors about their journey to higher education, their course, their future careers aspirations, and to ask any questions they may have. During subject-specific sessions, students will have the opportunity to experience a university-style lesson and talk to our academic staff about what to expect, and the many exciting opportunities they'll have if they continue their education.
We can develop a tailored and bespoke day of activities which meets the needs of your students. The programme can include:
- general higher education talks and workshops
- subject-specific recruitment, career talks, and workshops
- campus and/or subject facility tours
- student life session with our student ambassadors
Transition days
We are also pleased to be able to provide transition days, which show the next steps students may take in higher education, and give them a taste of what's to come. These events are specifically aimed at Year 11 and Year 12 students, and enable them to join us on campus and find out more about applying to university, receive some personal statement guidance, gain some study skills tips, and learn more about student finance options.
Join us at one of our informative transition days to find out more about:
- how to choose a course
- student finance
- study skills for higher education
- careers
- life at University

We can be flexible to accommodate your school at any of our campuses, which are in Wolverhampton City Centre, Walsall, and Telford. Please get in touch to discuss your bespoke programme and which campus would best suit the needs of your school and your day.
