University celebrates young enterprise at awards ceremony

20/05/2016

The University of Wolverhampton was proud to recently host the ‘Young Enterprise Awards Ceremony’ for the Black Country.

Young Enterprise, which is an organisation that runs business initiatives to inspire the UK’s next generation of leaders, aims to help young people make the connection between school and work.

The event, which took place on May 19 2016 at the University’s Business School, situated opposite the Molineux stadium, ran from 5pm until 9pm and welcomed around 100 guests.

Business students from local schools presented their work to a panel of judges from company, Homeserve, in hopes of winning prizes for a range of different categories; including best presentation and best product.

In attendance were students, staff and parents, as well as the Mayor of Wolverhampton, who was delighted to present the winners with their awards.
