This November Philip Hammond will deliver his first Autumn Statement as Chancellor and will set out his plans for the UK economy in preparation for Brexit.
On Wednesday 23rd November, the Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre, in conjunction with the Black Country Growth Hub, will offer companies the opportunity to watch the Chancellor’s statement live on the large screen in its Visualisation Centre. This will be followed by lunch and a live panel discussion to discuss the measures announced.
The assembled panel of experts will include Tony Elliot, a tax specialist at Dyke Yaxley Accountants as well as Anna-Maria McAuliffe a director for local company McAuliffe. Dr Stuart Farquhar and Chiara Donegani from the University of Wolverhampton Business School will also sit on the panel.
This is a fantastic opportunity for local companies to hear what the new Chancellor has to say and to discuss how businesses across the West Midlands could be affected. The event will take place at the Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre, Glaisher Drive, Wolverhampton, WV10.
There is no cost to attend but pre-registration is required.
