Unit 2: Starting your research

R3 Skills for Researchers:Literature Searching for Researchers

In line with government and university advice, we have suspended all face-to-face support. However, we’re still here to help you via our online service.   If you have an enquiry, please contact and we will get back to you within one working day. Research workshops you have signed up for will still go ahead using online materials  - we will be in contact closer to the time to discuss details.

This workshop is for doctoral students who wish to enhance and update existing skills in literature searching and finding information. It will explain how to create and use effective search strategies, as well as covering tools to help you stay updated in your field of study, and ways of critically reviewing and evaluating the information and sources you find.
