Software

A range of specialist software is available to download from IT Services to support your studies.

Microsoft Office is also available to download on up to 5 devices.

eResources

We have a wide range of eResources available to all students – these include eBooks, journal articles, and online databases

To log in to eResources, you will need to use the following details:

    • Username: student number
    • Password: IT password
  • If you have any issues with logging in, you can contact us by calling 01902 32 1333, emailing library@wlv.ac.uk, or via ASSIST.

Using other libraries

If you are a student or member of staff at Wolverhampton, you may also be able to visit other university libraries that are members of SCONUL. You can apply for access through SCONUL https://www.sconul.ac.uk/. Once you have received a confirmation email, please contact the institution you would like to visit to arrange this.

Databases access for students on Distance Learning courses

If you are a distance learning student in the UK you have access to ALL the Library’s databases, EXCEPT MarketLine Advantage. To access them you will need a University of Wolverhampton IT account.

If you are a distance learning student in the UK you have access to ALL the Library’s databases, EXCEPT MarketLine Advantage.

If you are studying outside the UK however, some databases are not available to you, due to licensing restrictions. These are listed below.
