Support for you
We are committed to supporting all our deaf and hard-of-hearing students to succeed. Here you will find useful advice and resources to help you make the most of your university experience.
As a student at the University of Wolverhampton, you may be eligible for additional funding depending on your current circumstances.
As a person with deafness/hearing loss or other hearing impairment who is eligible for support via the Disabled Student Allowance (DSA) (which has been declared to the University prior to enrolment), you may be eligible for the £2000 Access Bursary.
For more information including eligibility criteria, please see Access Bursary

The Sign Language Society (SLS) has been running since 2008 and this is where you get to meet current Deaf students as well as other Deaf people who are both local and from all over the UK along with Deaf students who have already graduated - you can also meet BSL Interpreting and Deaf Studies students there too.
