The Recovery College for the Black Country

Providing a supportive educational learning environment

The Recovery College for the Black Country provides a supportive educational learning environment for people who have an interest in, or personal challenges with mental health.  Our courses and activities celebrate successes, building on skills, strengths and strategies.

Coproduction means planning and delivering services together in an equal partnership based on mutual trust and respect, drawing on a variety of life skills, lived and professional experience.  Everyone has an import part to play.

In the Recovery College, we co-produce everything we do which includes co-design, co-delivery and co-evaluation of all our operations, courses, activities and projects.

As coproduction experts by experience, the Recovery College are supporting the Wolverhampton University PACE project by co-delivering training on co-production, supporting the Universities initial consultation and feedback meetings through providing recommendations and offering consultative support and guidance in embedding co-production throughout.
