Find out about the latest inclusive success and opportunities at the University with Inclusivity Matters.

Welcome to this edition of Inclusivity Matters, a quarterly newsletter to celebrate the University of Wolverhampton’s inclusive practice successes and opportunities.

In this edition, we share more excellent practice in inclusivity going on here in Wolverhampton. Inclusivity was the focus of the recent Continuous Monitoring and Improvement (CMI) and some good work is happening across the disciplines.

The activity showed that Inclusive practice continues to be strong and our annual Inclusivity Conference 2023 taking place on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 June will present a great opportunity to further strengthen and embed inclusivity to meet the needs of our diverse body of students and staff. One of our Keynote speakers this year is Jonathan Glazzard, Professor of Inclusive Education at Edge Hill University. Angela Spence, Chair of our Board of Governors will also present at the conference. Angela gave a truly inspiring opening speech last year and we are delighted that she is happy to support us again this year. The conference will also enable our shift in focus from mainly improving our student experience to enabling excellent student outcomes. Please save the dates!

We hope you enjoy reading this edition.
