Free food, worship and discussion at the Chaplaincy in March

March is quite a busy month for the Chaplaincy, details of many activities are below. Most are in the Chaplaincy Building on Molineux Street, between MX and Randall Lines, at City Campus.

Wednesday 6 MarchAsh Wednesday, short service of Holy Communion, 1:05pm - Chaplaincy, City Campus. 

Thursday 7 March - Chai, Chat and Samosas. Free food and drink with chance to talk with students and chaplains as part of University Mental Health Week - Chaplaincy, City Campus. 

Thursday 7 March - 11am – 3.30pm, Labyrinth installation, Students’ Union, The Venue, City Campus. Walk for fun, walk for peace, walk for reflection or meditation. The labyrinth can be a tool for personal, spiritual and/or psychological transformation – thought to enhance right-brain activity.

Wednesday 20 March - 11.30am – 2.30pm Langar on Campus, led by the Sikh Society on City Campus.

Monday 25 March - 12 – 1pm Islamic and Catholic perspectives on Mary, talk and discussion led by Chaplains Abdul Hameed and Fr Mark Crisp. Free soup. Chaplaincy, City Campus. 

Thursday 28 March -  12.15 – 1.45pm Modern Slavery is Closer than you think. Micro training - five minute awareness raising sessions every 15 minutes. Free samosa for everyone attending a training session. Can you spot the signs of modern slavery? Chaplaincy in partnership with various faith and non-faith student societies, and two charities working to prevent modern slavery; The Clewer Foundation and Transforming Communities Together. Boardroom, Students’ Union, City Campus.
