LEAD YOUR STUDENTS’ UNION - NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN!

Do you have what it takes to lead your Students’ Union?

Every year, members of Wolves SU (that’s you) elect students who will lead the work we do as a union over the coming year. Elected officers lead the Student Union’s direction, represent students interests to the University, run campaigns, and challenge the university on decisions that affect students.  

Nominations are now OPEN for the SU Elections 2022! Be sure to nominate yourself to be a sabbatical officer and help bring about meaningful change at the University of Wolverhampton!

There are four full-time officer positions up for grabs:

  • President
  • Vice President Community
  • Vice President Academic
  • Vice President Diversity

You can also run for: Chair of Union Council

Nominations close on 6 March at midnight.

WHO CAN RUN?

Anyone who is a registered student at the University of Wolverhampton can run in elections.

Students who will finish their course in summer 2022 OR is willing to take a 1-year break from studies (a sabbatical) for the 2022/23 academic year.

Please note: You must be available for training throughout July (and must have 18 – 26 completely free).

If you know someone who would be an excellent fit for one of the full-time elected officer roles, please let us know. All recommendations remain anonymous and will be used to send to students to let them know they have been recommended.
