    Applied Mathematics, A level & GCSE enrichment and extension 

I have always had a love of mathematics but it wasn't until studying for my degree that I considered teaching as a career. After helping many of my fellow students I found I enjoyed helping people learn and so decided to studying a PCGE in Secondary Mathematics and go into teaching. After teaching for four years in secondary schools both in the UK and abroad I wanted to try something more challenging and so applied to be a lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton. I have been working here since 2010 and still enjoy it.
As well as lecturing on the Undergraduate Mathematics courses I work with an organisation called the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme, organising enrichment events for local students and training events for teachers.
