Dr Khan is specialised in Digital Marketing. He has extensive experince in teaching, research and training.
Dr Imran Khan joined the University of Wolverhampton as a Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing in June 2020. Prior to this, he worked at the University of Salford as a Lecturer in Digital Marketing and University of York as a Lecturer in Marketing. He completed his PhD (Digital Marketing), MSc (Marketing) and Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice (PGCAP) from the University of Salford, UK.
Dr Khan is specialised in digital marketing and currently teaches digital marketing related modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Being in a fast-paced industry, he always makes sure that his students are fully aware of the emerging marketing trends in the industry. That being so, Dr Khan has initiated WLV Marketing Bootcamp sessions where he invites marketing experts from the industry to share their stories and teach various digital marketing tools.
Dr Khan’s research explores the impact of digital media on human behaviour. He has published his research in a high impact factor journal. He has also presented in many national and international conferences. He is actively learning new ways to conduct research. He has also provided research training to national and international universities. Dr Khan is supervising PhD students with a research focus in digital marketing.
He is a lifetime member of the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) and Affiliate member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). In addition to this, He is a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).
