Award-winning photographer to visit Uni

Indre Serpytyte, 23, won the Jerwood Prize in 2006, a prestigious national award which aims to give promising photographers an opportunity to establish their careers after they graduate.
She will meet students in the School of Art & Design on Friday, 18 April, 2008.
Indre’s award-winning work, A State of Silence, is a series of striking still-life images of a typewriter, telephone and a military hat.
Senior Lecturer Photography, Peter Day, said: “Indre is an example of what can be achieved in an incredibly competitive business through hard work and determination.”
Winners of the Jerwood Prize receive £2,500, representation in an issue of Portfolio Magazine and inclusion in a group exhibition in London.
