The International Centre for Creative Industries and Critical Cultural Practices
The International Centre for Creative Industries and Critical Cultural Practices (CICCUP) combines research and practice within the School of Creative Industries, specifically the School of Art and the Screen School, and explores the intersections between cultural studies, cybermetrics, art and theory, moving image studies, AI, film theory, and social theory.

Our Research Groups
Learning and teaching research into the Centre insofar as it is relevant to the pedagogic development of creative industries, digital culture, arts and humanities.
Interdisciplinary statistical, theoretical, film and television production, photography, animation, computer games design and graphics, illustration, multi-media journalism and art-based approaches to the image, fine art, social media and digital culture.
Research in racism, decolonialism, casteism, eco-criticism, politics, cultural heritage and memory, medical humanities, diversity in the creative industries, and critical approaches to the moving image.
Eco-feminism, eco-criticism, and sustainable aspects as they relate to areas such as art practice, fashion and textiles.
