About us

The Caring for Lifelong Health research centre’s aim is to carry out high-quality research into understanding, promoting and supporting health throughout the lifespan. Central to its philosophy is recognising that there are multiple and complex impacts on health. We seek to understand determinants of health at a population level through to the individual experiences of health challenges within a changing and increasingly digital society.

The centre also incorporates the Centre for Applied Research and Education (CARE), which is a Dementia group set up primarily for decision making, information sharing, and establishing an identity and point of contact within the University for dementia work.
