As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the University are hosting a series of activities and challenges within their Enterprise Department in collaboration with SPEED Plus.

SPEED Plus is a business start-up project part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), who aim to help create new businesses in the West Midlands.

The event will run from November 17 until November 21, showcasing a variety of workshops throughout the week which will be open to students, graduates and members of staff.

Workshops include; How to start up a business, How to set up a social enterprise, learning how to pitch with SPEED Plus experts and a chance to get involved in the ‘Survival of the Fittest’ challenge.

The week will end with an ‘Enterprise trade fair’ to provide attendees with the opportunity to purchase products and services from SPEED Plus businesses.
