Suzi Perry to star at University business event
The Innovation 1stproject at the University of Wolverhampton, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, is hosting the free business event.
‘Innovating and Creating - Technology in a Different Light’ will be held at the newly renovated Grand Station in Wolverhampton on September 2.
The University’s Honorary Fellow will be providing guests with an insight into her views on technology in industry including the technological challenges she has had to face throughout her career.
Suzi will be joined by David Oduro from Wacom, the pen technology giants, and Mick Hurst of Areca Design who will introduce guests to the world of augmented reality and demonstrate how it can be incorporated into product design and marketing.
Paul Burrow, Innovation 1st Project Manager said: “We are delighted that such prominent people in the world of technology are speaking at our event.
“Suzi Perry is a well-known technology enthusiast and it will be a great pleasure to welcome her back to the University.
“We are also looking forward to welcoming Wacom and Areca Design who will be talking about how the latest pen technology and augmented reality can be incorporated into the workplace. It promises to be a very lively and informative event”.
Innovation 1st will be displaying and demonstrating state of the art technology such as DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus Drones; Google Glasses – Explorer Edition; Leap Motion; Chrome cast and Apple TV.
Guests will be invited to try out the equipment and find out more from Innovation 1st technicians.
The event will run from 11am until 2pm with a free buffet lunch provided.
