Great to Graduate - Michael Salu‌The first event in the series will see Michael Salu, Artistic Director at Granta Publishing, hosting a public lecture on Thursday 14 March at 4.00pm - 5.00pm in the MC Building.

Michael’s work is highly regarded in his industry, and he has been recognised with many awards including ‘Best Cover of the Year’ in the British Book Design Awards 2011. He will be using examples of his work to talk through the different stages of his career, and also conducting portfolio reviews with current students to give them some advice on ways to improve their work.

Great-To-Graduate - Julian Ryall‌The second event in the series will be an online Q & A session with Julian Ryall, Japan correspondent for the Daily Telegraph.

Julian's incredible day job takes him travelling all over the Asia-Pacific region, and he has agreed to join the University for an exclusive live web chat on Friday 15 March live from Tokyo. The event will commence at noon GMT.

Great To Graduate - Mark OShea‌The third event announced will be a talk entitled ‘From Graduate to Great – A New Golden Age of Discovery, Exploration and Inspiration’ hosted by reptile expert and TV personality Mark O’Shea.

The herpetologist, well known for being an inspiring and entertaining speaker, will be at the University’s MA Building on Wednesday 20 March for an hour long talk beginning at 5:50pm. Places are limited for this talk, so the University asks people to book early to avoid disappointment.

Raman Sarpal, Head of Marketing at the University of Wolverhampton, said: “We’re absolutely delighted that the ‘Graduate to Great’ campaign is back for its second instalment, this time incorporating lectures from our special guests. We take great pride in all of our graduates, but it’s fantastic to have some of our most distinguished alumni back with us to share their knowledge and experiences with our current students.”
