Advice on how to sell to the Ministry of Defence

Small businesses can find out more about selling their products and services to the Ministry of Defence at a University of Wolverhampton event.

The event will feature advice from Defence Suppliers Service which provides guidance to companies on how to tender for work from the MoD, contract opportunities and policies.

Organised by the Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre, the innovative one-day event will take place at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park on Wednesday, 31 October 2012.

Nigel Birch, International Business Development Manager, said: “The MoD recognises that small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) can combine innovative thinking with a flexible approach and actively encourages them to compete for opportunities in procurement. Businesses can discover how their company can take advantage of these opportunities at this innovative event.”

Limited places will be available during the afternoon to meet with an MoD representative from the Defence Suppliers Service at a ‘Meet the Buyer’ appointment.

Additional workshops will run throughout the afternoon in support of the MoD procurement process and business opportunities for SMEs.
