Garments include recycled product donated donated by the UK’s leading children and disability charity, Newlife Foundation for Disabled Children, Sheepskin by Fenlands and leather from Pittards Plc.

As well as their creations appearing on the catwalk everyday, the University’s School of Art & Design students will have a stand alongside 500 leading fashion and beauty brands, exhibiting a variety of work. They will also get the chance to mingle with top designers, celebrities, models and DJs.

The catwalk show garments will also feature in a short film that will be running at the stand, produced by BA (Hons) Video and Film Production students.

Course tutor for BA (Hons) Fashion Accessories Anne Chaisty said: “This year we will be showing a spectacular collection and I think this will be our best show ever.

“This is exactly the kind of project fashion students should be doing.. This is a fantastic opportunity for them. We are really pleased with the support we have had from local manufacturers and are very much looking forward to the event”
