Pizza panic for pupils

24/06/2008

Sixty Year 10 students from Sandwell schools will be taking part in Pizza Panic at the Wolverhampton City Campus on Monday, 30 June 2008.

They will be provided with information to help them start up their own pizza company and will have to work together to succeed with the challenge. The students will also hear a presentation from Patricia Thomas, Operations Manager for Domino’s Pizza, about the company’s brand.

External Liaison Officer, Debbie Hodgetts, said: “The event has been organised by the University of Wolverhampton Business School and Sandwell Education Business Partnership, and is designed to encourage students to develop key enterprise and business capabilities.

“I would like to thank Pizza Hut in Bentley Bridge and Domino's Pizza on the Tettenhall Road for the kind donation of their prizes, and further thanks to Domino's for their kind donation of lunch for all participants and leaflets and boxes to help the students generate ideas.”
