Open Evening for mental health students
The event will take place on Wednesday, 30 July 2008, from 3pm to 7pm at the School of Health’s Mary Seacole Building in Wolverhampton.
The University offers a three-year Mental Health Nursing degree course (RN BSc), which enables students to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to make a difference to the lives of people with mental illness.
Jill Williams, Associate Dean at the School of Health, said: “At the open evening visitors will have the opportunity to meet some of our lecturers and clinical staff who can advise and guide on future career in mental health nursing. People can also speak to some of our current students who can share their experiences.”
All course fees are paid and financial assistance is available in the form of a means tested bursary.
