Who is Eligible?

To apply for the Graduate Route Visa, you must:
Have a valid Student or Tier 4 visa at the time of application
Be physically in the UK when you apply
Have successfully completed an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate degree
Have no outstanding university fees (your award won’t be confirmed if you owe fees!)

Studied remotely? You might need to arrive in the UK by a specific date to qualify. Check UKCISA guidance here.


Costs to Apply

Visa Fee: £822
Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS):

  • £2,070 (for undergraduates & master's graduates)
  • £3,105 (for PhD graduates)
    Have dependants? They’ll need to pay the same IHS fees.


How to Apply

Wait for confirmation – The university must report your course completion to the Home Office.
Check your email – We’ll send you a confirmation & your CAS number.
Apply for the visa – Once you get our email, you’re good to go!

Important: You can only get this visa once in your lifetime, even if you study again in the UK.
