Designed as an interactive Masterclass for any budding entrepreneurs, anyone looking to start a business, anyone who recently started a business, anyone just wanting to know more about the option of going self employed, or anyone with a business who wants to pick up some great insights from other female entrepreneurs.
This Masterclass brings together like minded people and provides ample time to network and develop new business contacts.
A panel of five experienced business women and entrepreneurs will share their stories alongside some great tips, followed by a Q&A session chaired by Josie Kelly, CEO, Access to Business.
- Clare Norton, Operations Manager, UK & Europe – School of Coding, (who teach computer science, coding and Maths to children and adults through their education centres, online, and in schools as well as provide courses in Europe, and IN2 work projects) an alumni of Aston University Business School, and previously set up and sold 2 companies
- Jane Sommerville, MD – Bowers and Jones, (a local engineering company who manufacture high Precision Roll Tooling and Equipment), and an alumni of Warwick Business School
- Harper Gill, founder and Director of Vaal and Vaal, (a private members club and events venue), and an alumni of University College Birmingham
- Carolyn Smith, founder and MD of TPSquared, (design led marketeers who build brands, bringing business stories to life through creative marketing), and an Alumni of the West Midlands Creative Scale Up Programme
- Olivia Simpson, CEO and co-founder Symbiotex, (a bio technology start up producing seaweed based home compostable rigid and semi-rigid biomaterials with a medical device focus), and an alumni of Wolverhampton University who was the winner of Young Entrepreneur of the year and London Tech Week at 21 years old.
Delivered as part of Wolverhampton Business Week, and chaired by Josie Kelly, CEO Access to Business - this is a great chance to hear some practical insights into setting up, running and growing a business; network with like-minded colleagues; and make some invaluable long-term business contacts.
