Weekly Mental Health and Wellbeing workshops

Psychosocial education workshops are friendly, interactive sessions designed to help you understand and manage your mental health and wellbeing. They’re not therapy, and you don’t need to share personal experiences — they’re more like wellbeing classes that give you tools to cope with life’s challenges.

Our workshops are open to all students with the aim of sharing theory and pragmatic techniques to manage common mental health difficulties. They are run by mental health professionals from the university's mental health and well-being team.

You don't need to be registered with the wellbeing team to attend, just join the session on Teams using the relevant link below. 

Our workshops will be running this Semester on every 1st Tuesday 12 -1pm (Join the Tuesday meeting here) and every 4th Thursday 12 -1pm (Join the Thursday meeting here

Upcoming sessions

  • November: Tuesday 4th and Thursday 27th - Anxiety - body and mind: a discussion on how anxiety impacts on our bodies and vice versa. We will share some theory and practical techniques of how-to sooth anxiety through our body.
  • December: Tuesday 2nd and Thursday 18th  - Procrastination: we will look at the cycle of procrastination and how to disrupt it. (Don’t put off joining us!)
  • January: Tuesday 6th and Thursday 22nd - Managing low mood: we all experience low mood but why? This workshop will introduce theory and practical techniques to manage low mood
