You are invited to attend the annual Inclusivity Conference: Moving Beyond Words 2023

Join us this June for Moving Beyond Words: University of Wolverhampton's fourth annual Inclusivity Conference
When: Tuesday 20 June and Wednesday 21 June 2023
Where: Mary Seacole Building Camp Street Wolverhampton, WV1 1AD
Inclusive practice at the University of Wolverhampton continues to evolve as staff and students work together to realise our vision for inclusive student success. Join us at the University of Wolverhampton's fourth annual Inclusivity Conference for what promises to be lively discussions, mixed with entertainment, as we explore how together we can continue to shape our future. This year’s conference has a strong focus on Action because change does not happen simply by wishing it.
Our keynote speaker for Day One is Professor Jonathan Glazzard, Professor of Inclusive Practice at Edge Hill University. Jonathan has published widely on aspects of inclusion and social justice for marginalised groups, and he is deeply committed to research which improves the lives of individuals, as well as research-informed teaching. Day Two of the conference will see our diverse University of Wolverhampton Board of Governors, sharing for the first time, their own personal and professional stories. We will hear how their lived/living experiences have informed their individual approaches to advancing inclusivity as a governing body.
Over the two days we will be holding a mix of in-person, hybrid, and on-line activities, so do take extra care to study the programme of events and follow this link to register for the Conference.
