Coronavirus Update: Your Health & Wellbeing: Saturday 21 March 2020

The wellbeing of our students continues to be the University’s priority and we are encouraging everyone to be mindful of their own health and that of their family and colleagues during this time.

Student Support and Wellbeing have now moved to providing information, advice and support via online and telephone channels following government advice to practise social distancing and avoid face to face or group contact.

With this in mind, we have pulled together some key facts and contacts that you might find useful if you are looking for some additional support or advice and guidance in relation to your mental health and wellbeing, disability services, student funding or if you just want a chat with someone in our chaplaincy.

You can access the Student Support page here: https://www.wlv.ac.uk/current-students/student-support/student-support-and-wellbeing-ssw/preparations-for-covid-19/

Whilst libraries are remaining open for the time being, please remember you will need your Student ID to access all University buildings and you should only be on campus if it’s absolutely essential.

There is a list of useful FAQs on our dedicated University webpage: https://www.wlv.ac.uk/news-and-events/coronavirus/ and we are regularly updating the University’s Social Media channels.  You can also find information on Canvas and on your student web page: https://www.wlv.ac.uk/current-students/news/.

If you have any queries or questions about your course or your studies, let the University know by logging a call through e:Vision.  A key benefit to using the Helpdesk call is it's very easy for us to track, update and have a record of your query and our responses. We will respond to your call as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience)
