Curious about communications? Intrigued by PR? Pearl Comms invites you to their Academy day 

Pearl Comms invites you to a day of workshops with our talented team helping you to gain experience in and find out more about an exciting industry.

We’re sharing our insights on what makes the media tick, our top tips for improving your writing and giving you the opportunity to have a go at your own broadcast interview. There will also be an opportunity to network with the Pearl Comms team, giving you the chance to ask us your burning questions, from what it’s like to work at an agency to what makes a good CV. 

What can I expect from the day? 

We have created different sessions throughout the day covering: media and writing, social media and digital marketing and branding. We don’t expect you to sit and listen to us all day, each session involves interactive elements giving you the opportunity to get stuck in.

Who should apply? 

Don’t worry if you have absolutely no experience, our Academy Day is a way to dip your toe into the world of PR, marketing and comms in a supportive environment. 

We’re a diverse team with different skillsets, backgrounds and perspectives and we want our Academy Day to reflect this too – so whether you’re a university student, graduate or looking to switch careers – we want to hear from you!

What do I need to bring?

To make sure the day is accessible, everything is provided for you – including lunch! Please just bring your enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to join in.
