Opportunity for photography students/students with advanced photography skills

In March 2020, Professor Tracey Devonport and Dr Melanie Best from the Institute of Human Sciences, Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing, will be travelling to the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield to undertake a research project exploring athlete identity among national and international wheelchair basketball players.

We are looking for photography students, or students with advanced skills in photography, who would like to come along and capture images of these athletes during a training camp. We will provide the transport leaving from and returning to Walsall Campus. We are looking for photographers for two dates - Tuesday 24 March and Friday 27 March. Ideally, but not necessarily, the same photographers for each date. We are looking for two photographers for each date.

We have undertaken a similar project with the support of photography students before, and not only did the students enjoy this experience but they used the images collected for portfolio work. This is a great opportunity to gain experience capturing images in high performance sport.
