Health and Wellbeing Events Coming Up

A series of health and wellbeing events are taking place across City Campus during April and May - encouraging staff and students to take care of themselves.

Olivia Simpson, Wellbeing Champion Co-ordinator at the University, said: "Everyone is leading busy lives and, at this time of the year, with assessments and exams coming up, it's really vital that students and staff should put some time aside to check on their health and wellbeing.

"Whether it's just general health checks, or finding ways to destress, we've put together a series of events designed to help you take care of yourselves."

Testicular Cancer Awareness Stand - Thursday 20 April - 12-2pm

Resources will be supplied by Oddballs including Check Yourself guides and Check Yourself cushions

Bowel Cancer Awareness Stand - Thursday 20 & Monday 24 April 12-2pm

Colleagues from the NHS black country ICB, including a registered nurse will be on hand  with advice & resources

Destress Event - Wednesday 26 April - 11-3pm

Prepare for the assessment period:

Mindful activities, chat with the academic coaches, plant seeds, play games, free hot food, meet the wellbeing team, share relaxation tips

Do you know your Blood Pressure - Wednesday 17 May - 11-2 pm

Join us to get your free blood pressure measurements and free advice on blood pressure
