The innovative BA (Hons) Economics and Business course aims to provide you with a strong background in economic principles as well as knowledge and understanding of the key requirements of successful business organisations with an international perspective. The course will enable you to apply theories to organisations operating within changing global environment and to deal with case studies and real-world business scenarios.
Using a wide range of concepts, approaches, research techniques and learning forums the course intends to equip you with a range of personal and analytical skills in preparation for a career in economics, business, and general management. Also, the programme provides an excellent foundation for postgraduate study in economics and business.
The Foundation Year (level 3) is designed to equip applicants who do not have the required qualifications to enter directly onto level 4, with a robust toolkit of the academic, digital and personal skills required for successful study in Higher Education and also with an understanding of, and insight to, the economics discipline. Successful completion of the Foundation Year will allow progression onto level 4 of BSc (Hons) Economics and Finance
