Yes, the university is accepting applications for courses that have places. Please check out our course pages to see if you can apply.

Simply go to the page of the course you are interested in and click on the 'apply' link. We also provide advice on making your application.

Each course will have entry requirements which you will need to meet in order to be considered for the course. These will be listed on the course page you are interested in.

For many courses we have equivalency tests for English, Maths and Science, which allow you to apply for a course that requires specific GCSEs you don’t have.

If you’ve applied to a university and used all five choices and don’t hold any offers, you can use UCAS Extra up until 4 July. UCAS Extra is a free service that lets you continue applying for higher education courses if you have been declined all offers or haven’t been offered a place.

It's your opportunity to tell universities and colleges about your suitability for the course(s) that you hope to study. You need to demonstrate your enthusiasm, passion (without using the word!) and commitment for the subject and above all else, to ensure that you stand out from the crowd.

Qualifications have a number of UCAS points assigned to them which are used to calculate entry criteria against grades. Most, but not all, qualifications will provide you with UCAS points. The UCAS points calculator will help you determine your points.

When you apply to the university, our admissions team will make a decision on your application. You will normally hear back as to whether you have been made an offer through UCAS track.

After you have applied, you may be made an offer by the University. We have different types of offers, our Application page explains these.

A personal statement supports your application to the University. It's submitted as part of your application form and provides you with the opportunity to talk about why you would like to study your chosen course and what experience you can bring.

A type of qualification that you take after completing an undergraduate qualification, such as a Master’s degree.

A course which has the option of a placement year 'sandwiched' in between years two and three of study.

Universities and Colleges Admissions Service - This is where you will submit your application to university if you are studying an undergraduate course.

UCAS Track is an online tracking system which allows you to see how your application is progressing. This is the online platform where you can reply to offers and make amendments.

Normally your first degree. Undergraduate qualifications include Bachelors of Arts, Science or Engineering (BA, BSc, BENG), Foundation degrees & years and HNcs and HNDs.
