ID Check

You will only be enrolled once your ID check has been completed.

ID Checks

On you have completed the enrolment tasks on e:Vision, if you are not studying on a program that requires a DBS check, the final step of enrolment is to confirm your identity.  This is done by showing your passport or driving to the correct staff.  

If you don't have a passport or driving license (full or provisional) than the following documents will be accepted.

 

  • European Union identity card 
  • Or any two items from the following list: 

 

  1. Birth/Adoption certificate  
  2. Marriage/Civil Partnership certificate
  3. Correspondence from Student Loan Company or local authority 
  4. National insurance card 
  5. HM Forces ID card 
  6. Credit card statement 
  7. Utility bill 
  8. Home office documents 
  9. Benefits statement (E.g. Childcare, pension, etc.) 
  10. Correspondence from HMRC (Inland revenue)

 

Home students:

Please note this check will be carried out at an ASK office on the City, Walsall or Telford campus, see ASK@WLV for opening times and location details. 

 

International students:

International students must receive a message to complete the ID Check, this will only be received once the University's UKVI Team have checked and passed all the documents that you uploaded to the Right to Study tile (Passport; Share code; UK address and UK mobile number).
