Hello my name is Lorraine Diegnan, I am one of the Heads of Nursing for the undergraduate Pre registration Nursing programme.
I qualified as an Adult Nurse in 1995 and hold a current NMC pin Number. Throughout my nursing career I worked in a variety of surgical areas and specialised in General surgery, Plastics, ENT, orthopaedics , bowel surgery , Urology and Breast Cancer care.
I started working at the university of Wolverhampton in 2005 as a lecturer and have worked in a variety of roles and responsiilites over the last 19 years.
I am passionate about nurse eduaction and my role as aneducator, my priority is to ensure our nursing students achieve successful outcomes and prepare them with the knowledge and skills for the future workforce.
