BSc(Hons) Applied Physics, PhD in Physics. 2 years Post-Doctoral research in renewable energy systems.  31 years lecturing experience at Under and Post Graduate levels in the areas many of physics, analogue and digital electronics, Instrumentation, materials, programming, Security and Computer Networks.

Supervised Under and Post graduate student dissertations in these areas.

Wilf Wright Memorial Award for Magnetics 1987

IEEE Travel Award to the 1985 International Conference on Magnetism 1985

Nineteen publications in the areas of Vision systems; techno-economic computer modelling of hot dry rock power stations; and properties of NdFeBCo alloy magnets.
