I qualified as a nurse in 1995 and I have worked in variety of hospital settings, gaining experience in medical and surgical nursing. With an interest in student nurse education I joined the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing in 2004.  My teaching/learning facilitating responsibilities mainly relate to nursing clients with Long Term Health Conditions, The Sociology of Health, Public Health and Research. I have a particular interest in research related to culture, deprivation and health.
