Corporate Partnership

Corporate partnerships enable us to offer a world-class environment of teaching and learning to our students

The School of Architecture and Built Environment will bring together skills, development, research and industry, and give our students the opportunity to study in state-of-the-art surroundings before taking their skills into the world beyond.

Our global hub at Springfield – already home to a skills centre and technical college aimed at 14-19 year olds – will provide complete career progression from training College to University and direct to the workplace.

As a Corporate, now is the right time to invest and work in partnership with the School of Architecture and the Built Environment for the following reasons

  • An opportunity to drive regional growth: Construction is a vital growth sector for the Black Country
  • Increased demand from a growing construction industry: Global construction industry is forecast to grow by more than 70% over the next ten years. Our Springfield campus is particularly well placed to take advantage of this rising international demand, with strengths in architecture, engineering and sustainable construction.
  • Shortage of skilled construction workers: There are significant regional shortages of engineers and construction workers. Our Springfield campus will help address this by providing a pipeline of employable graduates into the workforce.

A Corporate Partnership would be focussed around the following benefits:

We will work with you on targeted recruitment events and promote these on student focused Careers webpages. Your staff will also have the opportunity to mentor our students.

Retaining Talent: The opportunity for Corporate staff to receive discounts on our courses. We will also work with you to develop CPD options for your staff.

Senior Level Networking: Through breakfast briefings led by academics on a topical subject and other high profile events at the School, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with our key external contacts

Use of our Facilities: Our state-of-the-art facilities can be utilised for corporate meetings, subject to availability.
