Creative Futures: VOiD Applications Web Design

Artsfest Artsfest 2021 / Creative Futures: VOiD Applications Web Design

Creative Futures and Artsfest Online are pleased to present the next instalment in our series of talks where creatives will share insider knowledge on forging a career pathway within the arts.

Chris Carter is Managing Director and Neil Cooper is Design Director of VOiD Applications. In this presentation Chris and Neil will talk about how their career pathway hasn’t always been easy, their first steps into work, how they realised what they wanted their business to be through hard work, trial and error; and the importance of being persistent.

Chris and Neil both graduated from Wolverhampton from Interactive Media and Computer Science (Games Design) courses in 2012. After University they went into partnership with other class mates to set up VOiD Applications in Wolverhampton, based at the University of Wolverhampton's Science Park. Chris and Neil have steered Void Applications through lots of changes and today it goes from strength to strength, providing app design, web development, SEO services and marketing and branding and design to clients in the education, finance, manufacturing and legal sectors.

This talk was recorded on 17th November 2021.
