University opens doors for prospective students
The University of Wolverhampton is holding its key summer recruitment Open Days on Saturday 17 June 2023 at all three of its campuses in Telford, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
There will also be a free Family and Community Day at the Telford Campus being held from 12.00 midday until 4.00 pm which will include a range of fun interactive activities.
Jack Clare, Director of Recruitment, Access and Partnerships at the University, said: “Whether people are interested in studying with us or if they’ve already applied for a degree course, everyone is welcome to come along to one of our University open events where you can find out more about our courses, campus, facilities, accommodation, and so much more.
“The Telford Campus will be open to our local community from midday onwards – so families are welcome to come along and you may even get the chance to spot one of the peacocks who have taken up residence with us!
“There will be face painting, a bouncy castle, sports activities, rocket making workshops and more, with free parking and plenty to entertain the family.
“Exotic Zoo will be joining us for a special show, and with free refreshments, it’ll be a wallet-friendly day out.
“If you love cars, join University of Wolverhampton Racing Team on their wheel-changing challenge. You’ll also find teams from our nursing, paramedic science, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and engineering departments demonstrating their skills and showcasing the careers their subjects can lead to.”
The Open Day starts at 9.30 pm and finishes at 2.30 pm.
