First students join new online Master’s programmes

05/05/2021

Seven new fully-online courses at the University of Wolverhampton have formally started after welcoming their first cohorts of students last week.

The new Master’s courses in business and psychology, have a specific focus on developing progressive, compassionate and ethical professionals and leaders.

The new courses are: Master of Business Administration (MBA), MBA Finance, MBA Entrepreneurship, MBA Psychology, MSc Psychology, MSc Organisational and Business Psychology, and MSc Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing.

With multiple intakes per year, it’s expected that student numbers will continue to grow under this exciting new venture.

Professor Alex Forsythe, Institutional Lead for Online Learning, said: “It’s brilliant to now have students starting on these courses that we have designed and with Higher Education Partnership (HEP).

“We also worked in collaboration with national and international governing bodies, students, national and international subject experts and employers to ensure our students are ready for the graduate workplace by the time they have completed the course.”

MSc Computer Science programmes will be joining the platform in June and there are a number of other new developments in the pipeline.
