Psychologists offer expert insights into Covid-19

Psychologists at the University of Wolverhampton have launched a new video blog to discuss topics related to Covid-19.

The Centre for Psychological Research Vlog is available on Facebook and aims to consider areas of research that are relevant to the general public.

Topics so far have included mental health and stress for healthcare workers such as nurses and paramedics and working at home during the Covid-19 crisis – especially with kids.

Other vlogs have included Exercise to keep emotionally healthy during Covid-19 crisis and social media: the good, the bad and the ugly.

The vlogs are updated as new topics are explored and can be viewed at anytime. The vlogs feature insights from University psychology experts informed by the latest scientific evidence.

Professor Maria Uther, Head of Centre for Psychological Research, said: “I am delighted that our team is able to offer these talks to the general public on topics that are helpful to them during this time of crisis. We have a range of expertise in our field and it is our hope that our expertise can be of practical benefit to the community.“
