Fines Amnesty

Do you have fines on your library loans? Don’t worry- we’ve cleared them!

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

From the 1 Aug we’ll have a new library management system and some new borrowing policies.

To mark the occasion we’ve cleared all fines so just bring back the items when you’re done.

Under the new policy your books will be automatically renewed weekly so you’ll only get charged an overdue fee if someone else has requested the item and you don’t return it within 7 days.

You’ll get email notifications to your University email address telling you when you need to bring the item back. Fines will be charged at £1 for every day the item is overdue. If your fines reach £21 you library account will be blocked so you’ll need to pay the fee before you can borrow anything else.
